Today 28/January 2024, I received an email purporting to be from mcafee inc (!), thanking me for my auto renewal of $399, To the best of my knowledge I don't have any mcafee products. The phone number attached is +61240170276, I do not want to be in this group but there is no one to call re this email.

You're then given the option to keep or turn off auto renewal. When you click turn off it will probably give you the option to renew for half off.
