Cutthroats are what my father uses and has good results with. He developed a sharpening guide for the cutthroats that works vey well to get then to surgical sharpness. The steel in them is outstanding. The edge retention fantastic.

Webb21 aug. 2024 · First, when I say file sharp, I mean SHARP! Hair shaving thumbnail grabbing sharp. But if you look at the edge under magnification its micro serated by the file. The edge is very sharp and very durable. You can shoot it through a deer and it's still sharp.
